DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
NSP2/HOME RENTAL DEVELOPMENT LOAN PROGRAM
RFP DES.2012.1

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, through the Department of Economic Sustainability (DES), is soliciting proposals from for-profit entities, non-profit entities and for-profit/non-profit partnerships interested in receiving loan funds under the County's Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2) and the County's HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).

Up to $5,536,818 in loan assistance will be offered to create Permanent Rental Housing through the construction of new housing on vacant property, the demolition of existing vacant buildings and the construction of new rental housing, or acquisition and rehabilitation of Foreclosed multi-family properties. Full details are contained in the RFP package.

To obtain a RFP package, a potential respondent must fill out and submit to DES, the RFP DES.2012.1 Registration Form which is located at http://www.pbcgov.com/des, or by visiting DES at 100 Australian Avenue, Suite 500, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Registration with DES is required in order to be eligible to submit a proposal. A RFP Pre-Submittal Conference will be held at the PBC Governmental Center, McEaddy Conference Room (12th Floor), West Palm Beach, FL 33401 on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The RFP Submittal deadline is 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
