The Planning Commission serves as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) per sec. 163.3174, F.S. and provides recommendations on amendments to the Palm Beach County Comprehensive Plan to the Board of County Commissioners. The Planning Commission is a fifteen-member advisory body that is charged with advising the Board of County Commissioners on matters pertaining to the Comprehensive Plan.
