​At the Nov. 1, 2022 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the board took the following action:

Administration – Received and filed the updated Board Directive Reports, including in process and completed board directive items.

Community Services – adopted a resolution creating the Palm Beach County Advisory Committee on Behavioral Health, Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders.

Housing & Economic Development – approved an Infrastructure Sales Tax Program award for $2.5 million to the Housing Authority of Belle Glade; directed staff to negotiate the loan agreement; and authorized the county administrator or designee to execute the loan agreement, amendments and all other documents necessary for project implementation.

Planning Zoning & Building – approved a five-year agreement with Florida Atlantic University to develop a Watershed Master Plan (WMP) in the amount not to exceed $500,000 for drainage basin and hydraulic analyses in unincorporated Palm Beach County; and authorized the county administrator or designee to execute the contract, amendments, task orders and any other necessary documents related to the WMP.

Public Safety – adopted a resolution to establish a process for the Palm Beach County Youth Reentry Program emergency expenditures.
