At the Sept. 12, 2023, Board of County Commissioners meeting, the board took the following action on the regular agenda:

Administration – received and filed the updated board directive reports, which include in-process and completed board directive items.

Facilities Development & Operations – approved a motion declaring the approximately 6.34-acre property located at 5741 Okeechobee Blvd. as surplus; and authorized staff to issue a request for proposals to convey or lease the property for the development of affordable and/or workforce housing.

Information Systems Services – approved, by a vote of 4-2, an agreement with CivicPlus LLC for a county-designated publicly accessible website for publication of legal notices for an initial term of two years with two additional one-year terms at a one-time implementation cost of $2,000 and $18,000 for the first term with a 3% adjustment upon renewal.
