​At the March 5, 2024, Board of County Commissioners meeting, the board took the following action on the regular agenda:

Administration – Received and filed the updated Board Directives Report, which includes in process and completed board directive items.

County Attorney – denied a motion to adopt the initiation of conflict resolution procedures over the Village of Wellington's involuntary annexation of approximately 257.9 acres of land located generally at the intersection of State Road 80 and Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. 

Environmental Resource Management – ratified Coral Cove Emergency Dune Restoration Contract with Eastman Aggregate Enterprises, LLC in the amount $2,017, 839.

Ratified amendment No. 1 to the Singer Island Emergency Dune Restoration Contract. The contract was increased by $43,550, making the new total amount $2,574, 136. Dune and beach restoration needed to be completed prior to marine turtle nesting season (March 1 – October 31).
