The Acreage Pines Natural Area Boardwalk was dedicated to Michelle Gurlides Damone on April 5. She served on the Indian Trail Improvement District Board for over 14 years and was instrumental in bringing the Acreage Park to the western communities. The dedication was officiated by Palm Beach County Mayor Maria Sachs for whom Ms. Damone served as her Chief of Staff. Members of ITID, community leaders, friends and family gathered to pay homage to her. Ms. Damone will be remembered as a passionate park advocate and influential leader who helped shape the future of the Acreage.
