The Building Division recently hosted its annual Industry Professional Stakeholder's Breakfast at Vista Center in West Palm Beach. Over 50 local contractors, architects, professional engineers and representatives from local trade associations and municipalities participated in the event.
Building Official Doug Wise and Deputy Director Cindy Hoskin provided updates on new initiatives and other projects including online permitting, building codes, and remote on-demand video inspections, just to name a few.
The event is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input on various services, policies and procedures. Staff representatives from Inspections, Permit Center, Plan Review, and Contractors Certification also participated.
