1. Where is the Palm Beach County Law Library?

The Law Library is located at 205 North Dixie Hwy Room 1.2200, on the first floor of the main courthouse, in downtown West Palm Beach.

There is also a Law Library located at the Delray Courthouse, 200 West Atlantic Ave., on the second floor.

2. Who can use the Law Library?

The Law Library is open to the public, anyone can use it.

3. What are the hours?

Main Courthouse, West Palm Beach
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; Closed Saturday and Sunday.

South County Courthouse, Delray Beach
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm; Closed Saturday and Sunday.

4. Where can I park?

Main Courthouse: There is: Street parking with meters; Parking garage on Quadrille and Banyan Street; Hourly parking lots on Banyan. All located within walking distance of the courthouse.
Delray: Free parking.

5. What services does the Law Library provide?

1. Reference Services.
The Law Library provides updated legal resources to assist patrons with their legal questions.
This information is available free, however patrons can make photo-copies at 15c a page. No books can be borrowed. Librarians are prohibited from giving legal advice, which includes assistance in completing legal forms. Librarians will direct patrons to books wherein they can locate the materials they need.

2. Computer Assisted Legal Research.
Access to Westlaw and LexisNexis is available for a fee. Printing from the computer is 25c a page.

3. Word Processing Services.
There are computers available for patrons to type and print their own documents at no charge.

4. Copy Services.
There are several copiers available in the law library. Copies are 15c per page. Cash (small bills) or checks are needed.

5. Fax Service
Faxes can be sent or received at $1.00 a page.

6. CLE Course Materials & TV's/VCR's/DVD Players
CLE audio tapes are available for rent for CLE credits. A deposit of $50.00 is required in cash and rental is $30.00 for 7 days. Late fees of $2.00 a day are applied.

TV/VCR/DVD players are available for rent. There is a $50.00  cash deposit required and a rental fee of $30.00 per day.
