Community Action distributes non-perishable food items to low income families on a regular basis. Included are: rice, beans, apple sauce, macaroni and canned fruits and vegetables. Surplus fresh fruits and vegetables are available during peak farming season.

Community Action also works with the Society of Saint Andrew gleaning network to distribute fresh citrus that is donated by growers and harvested by volunteers.
