Offering migrant and seasonal farm workers the opportunity to strengthen their ability to achieve economic self-sufficiency through their participation in educational, skills training and supportive services. After completion of training, program participants are then able to obtain year-round unsubsidized employment and as a result are able to make positive changes in their lives.

Eligibility is limited to:

• Those individuals who have, during any consecutive 12-month period preceding their application for enrollment have been a migrant or seasonal farm worker, or the dependent of a farm worker.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Non-Citizen.
• Males born after December 31, 1959, and who are between the ages of 18-26 must be registered with Selective Services
• Earned at least 50% of his/her their total earned income from farm work or been employed at least 50% of their total time in farm work; and
• Been employed at least 25 days in farm work and earn at least $8,000 a year in farm work.
