If you are summer camp vendor interested in the 2012 SCSP, the deadline to submit a vendor packet for consideration has passed. The deadline to submit a Vendor Packet was February 3rd, 2012, by 5:00 PM- ALL vendor agreements must be date stamped by our office to be considered for approval. If you did submit your paperwork, thank you, we will contact you soon. Paperwork submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

If you are a parent interested in the 2012 SCSP, please call one of the Human Services offices for an appointment. Call today. The application is posted below. Applications will be taken from February 20th to March 30th, 2012. Incomplete applications will not be processed or accepted. Stay tuned to this webpage for updates.

The Summer Camp Scholarship Program provides full-tuition and fees for summer camp for children residing in families with incomes at or below 150% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. It allows parents to work with the knowledge that their children are safe. It gives children educational and recreational opportunities for growth. Parents may choose from over 100 participating camps in Palm Beach County.

Priority is given to applicants in the following order:

1. Homeless children/foster care children living in group homes
2. Full time working parents
3. Children of OEF and OIF Veterans, recently returned from active duty

All scholarships depend on the availability of funding.
