Our Mission

4-H Animal Science CampThe mission of 4-H in Florida is to assist all youth between ages 5 and 18 in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society. This is achieved through three primary modes in Palm Beach County, which are school enrichment/afte school, special interest activities, and clubs/members at large.

School Enrichment/After School

4-H Animal Science CampThrough classroom instruction, teacher training, and a lending library, 4-H enables teachers to enrich the educational experiences of youth. For more details about school enrichment offered by Palm Beach County 4-H, contact our office to receive a copy of the Education Connection: A Teacher's Guide to 4-H School Enrichment Programs in Palm Beach County.

Clubs/Members at large

Participation in a 4-H club is an ongoing, long-term experience that connects youth with caring adults and leads to enhanced decision making, problem solving, leadership, and public speaking skills for those involved. Youth participating in a planned 4-H program as individuals without group affiliation are considered members-at-large. The benefits of 4-H are many...
