Carmen "Vinnie" Veneziano is the current President of the Palm Beach County Crime Prevention Officers Association. He has been an active member since 1995 and has served as Vice President since 2004 to 2006.As of January of 2007 he assumed the role as President.
Carmen "Vinnie" Veneziano began his law enforcement career in 1983 as a Deputy with the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office and has been employed there for 24 years. Deputy Veneziano has served in several capacities for the Sheriffs Office and is currently assigned to the Crime Prevention Office. He has been assigned to this position for the past 6 years. Prior to this assignment Deputy Veneziano was the Crime Prevention Deputy for the Sheriffs Office in the Village of Wellington. Deputy Veneziano designed and implemented the village-wide crime prevention program known as "Wellington on Watch" or "WOW".
Deputy Veneziano is certified by the State of Florida Attorney Generals Office/ Crime Prevention Training Institute with the following certifications: Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner, Convenience Store Inspector, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Practitioner. Deputy Veneziano is also a board member & southeast Florida Region representative of the Florida Cpted Network. The Florida CPTED Network is a statewide organization of law enforcement officers & city and county planners who practice the CPTED principles.
