William L. Kramer Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of FL. William L. Kramer is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida in Belle Glade, Florida where he has been employed for the last 25 years. He received his BBA in Economics in 1968 from the University of Georgia and served as a Naval Officer and Naval Aviator from 1968 until 1972. He attended California State University, Fresno and received an MS Degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 1973, and went to work for Peat Marwick Mitchell, Certified Public Accountant in Orlando, Florida. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1975 and subsequently went to work for the Restaurant Division of General Mills, Inc. where he held various leaderships in financial analysis, management and accounting. In addition, to being the General Manager of Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida Mr. Kramer is on the Board of Directors of American Sugar Refinery, Inc. He also serves as Chairman of the Pension and Retirement Plan Committee of American Sugar Refinery, Inc. Mr. Kramer's civic involvement includes membership in the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, Inc., former President of The Practical Academic and Cultural Educational (PACE) Center for girls of Palm Beach County, former chairman of the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Theatre, former Board Member and Treasurer of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council, and current Director of the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association. |
