The Research and Planning Unit has assembled a number of data tables in Beyond 20/20 format. The data tables describe crime and the criminal justice system from various sources such as law enforcement, the medical examiner, the court system, and corrections. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Statistical Analysis Center [External Link] maintains data on police reported crimes and arrests from local law enforcement agencies across the 67 counties in Florida.; Homicide data contained on this site were provided to us by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office. Data related to court filings and dispositions are maintained by the Office of State Court Administrators, Court Statistics [External Link] from all judicial circuits, including the 15th Judicial Circuit. The Bureau of Research and Data Analysis at the Florida Department of Corrections collects and maintains data related to average daily population at jails across the state.
