S.T.Y.L.E. SUPER GROUP! The Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) formed a countywide Youth Group, called the S.T.Y.L.E. Super Group, as a part of its Youth Violence Prevention Project. A key focus of the Group is to help the students to “find their voice” to community, city, and county leaders for the sharing of ideas and possible solutions for reducing youth crime.
Who is eligible to attend? Membership is open to any youth living in Palm Beach County who is interested in helping fellow students, schools, and communities in reducing youth crime. Youths from middle schools, high schools, community service organizations, youth groups, teen agencies, and the Dept. of Juvenile Justice are invited to attend. What does “S.T.Y.L.E.” mean? “Saving The Youths’ Lives Everywhere” You don’t have to be an adult to become an advocate and work for change. As a young adult, you can act to make changes, educate and inspire your community, and become an advocate for saving the youths’ lives everywhere. When and where are the meetings held? 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at the Lake Worth Youth Empowerment Center, 1699 Wingfield Street. Why would you want to become a member?
