Palm Beach County Revolving Energy Fund Loan Program

The Economic Development Office is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for our Revolving Energy Fund Loan Program. The Program will offer low interest, fixed rate, long term loans for local businesses to reduce the cost of doing business by implementing energy saving building retrofits and/or renewable energy projects. Population - Palm Beach County

 
  • Palm Beach County is the largest of Florida’s 67 counties. Under the U.S. Census, the County is part of the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton Metropolitan Area and its 2000 population of 1,131,184 ranked third in the State.

  • Per the 2000 Census, the 1,131,184 year-round population is composed of: 41.8 median age; 65 years and older total 262,076 (23%); 18 years and older total 890,726 (79%); males 46,739 (48%); females 584,445 (52%); white 894,207 (79%); black 156,055 (14%) and other 80,922 (7%). Included in that racial breakdown is the fast expanding Hispanic origin population numbering 140,675 (12% of total population).
