HUBZone Program

 

Federal Contracting Preferences. The Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Zone Empowerment Contracting Program provides contracting opportunities for qualified small businesses located in urban and rural areas. This program is designed to promote economic development and employment growth, and is managed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). A business will need to qualify for and obtain HUBZone certification.

Coastal & Glades Communities. The HUBZone designated areas in the coastal area are dispersed. Whereas, the entire Glades Community of Belle Glade, Pahokee, South Bay and the surrounding unincorporated area all have a HUBZone designation.
