This subcommittee is exploring the role of cultural arts, waterfronts, historic districts, farmers markets, tourist destinations, sports and recreation, the need to preserve open space and ensuring continued public access to the ocean and waterways of Palm Beach County . The committee is defining benchmarks of quality of life and best practices via a series of case studies of communities with similar amenities and environmental resources.
