Administers, coordinates, schedules, and monitors the design, right-of-way acquisition, preparation of contract documents, bidding, and construction of the County's Five-Year Road Program, as it relates to thoroughfare roads. Prepares and updates annual, quarterly, and miscellaneous reports for the Board of County Commissioners, County and Engineering Administration, on the status of the Five-Year Road Program. Coordinates thoroughfare road improvements that are proposed by developers and others. Administers and coordinates the consultant selection process (CCNA), from advertisement through negotiation. Right-Of-Way Acquisition Section Acquires rights-of-way and easements for all road projects constructed by Palm Beach County. Maintains an inventory of County owned rights-of-ways, easements, County owned and "courtesy" maintained roads. Provides input into the abandonment of platted rights-of-way. Director Tel: 561-684-4070 Prepares and reviews plans, specifications, right-of-way maps, permit applications, and contract documents for non-thoroughfare capital improvement projects, including intersection improvements, pathway projects, street and drainage improvement projects, and miscellaneous projects for other County departments. Carries out survey requests for County projects, develop and maintain survey control data used by professionals in delineation of property boundaries and the development of engineering projects, and provides this survey information to all County offices and agencies when requested.
