Survey Section - Carries out survey requests for County projects. Develops and maintains survey control data used by professionals in delineation of property boundaries and the development of engineering projects. Provides survey information to all County offices and outside agencies when requested.
Design Section - Prepares and reviews plans, specifications, right of way maps, permit applications and contract documents for non-thoroughfare capital improvement projects, including street and drainage improvement projects, (MSTU), water and/or sewer installation projects, pathway projects, maintenance projects and miscellaneous projects for other County departments. Maintains GIS drainage systems layer. Initiates and monitors Annual Construction contracts used by various departments.
Railroad Section - Coordinates railroad crossing agreements and maintenance funding for those crossings associated with County roads and facilities.
