Palm
Beach County Division of Emergency Management (DEM) is responsible for
reducing the effects of potential disasters before they occur, planning
for and coordinating the operations and response to a disaster, managing
resources and coordination of recovery efforts following a disaster as
well as providing public education and information. We work with over
100 different local, volunteer, state, and federal organizations on an
ongoing basis and after a disaster to ensure that the Palm Beach County
Emergency Response Team is prepared to help the citizens of Palm Beach
County survive any disaster.
