Welcome to Lake Worth Lagoon - one of South Florida's most significant natural resources. urban estuary cd package

This estuary is home to hundreds of plants and animals, including several threatened and endangered species. Come explore the seagrass meadows and mangrove forests and learn about efforts to restore these habitats. Urban Estuary is a multimedia environmental education CD-ROM designed to help you learn about Lake Worth Lagoon, and the issues associated with protecting and managing this important portion of the Everglades watershed and the South Florida Ecosystem.
