Environmental Resources Management utilizes GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for storage, manipulation, display and analysis of spatial data. Primary datasets include wellfield protection zones, coastal resources, tanks and contamination cleanup sites and natural areas. ERM is working with Palm Beach County
Information System Services (ISS) to develop applications that will facilitate the availability of spatial data to other agencies and the public. Many of ERM's spatial datasets are available via the Internet at specific program and section sites.
