ERM's Mobile Maps

 

ERM has created maps of our natural areas and reefs that are viewable on most mobile devices. The natural area maps shows the outline boundary of the natural area along with the hiking/nature trails and public use facilities. The reef maps show the location of both natural and artificial reefs. If your mobile device has a GPS (most do), you'll be able to see your location on the map.

The map is available through the free ArcGIS map app by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). This app is available on the iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Phone 7 mobile devices.

Please note, these links will only work on a mobile device.

  1. In App Store, download the free ESRI ArcGIS app.
  2. Once installed, using your smart phone browser,
    select the following links for the map:
    Natural Areas Map (Link only works from a mobile device with the ArcGIS app installed first)
    Reef Map (Link only works from a mobile device with the ArcGIS app installed first)
  3. Alternatively, in the app, select the "Find Maps" icon, (magnifying glass on top of a map) and type ERM.
  4. Select the map you would like to download.
  5. Click each pin for further information.

Please note, the links above will only work on mobile devices that have the ArcGIS application and the functionality and features of the app vary with each mobile operating system and type.

  • Site Closure - Sweetbay Natural Area, Palm Beach Gardens
    The natural area will not be accessible from Aviation Rd from Feb. 23, 2016 through Feb. 27, 2016 while work is done on the railroad crossing adjacent to the Beeline Highway.
  • Running Wild - Frenchman's Forest Natural Area, Sat. March 5th
    Series of guided 3 to 10 mile trail runs through pine, cypress and coastal scrub habitats on some of the most scenic trails in Palm Beach County. [LINK]
