Vegetation Management

The primary mission of the Vegetation Management Section is to coordinate and implement the incentive programs as outlined in Article 14.D of the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). In addition, the Section is responsible for coordinating vegetation surplus activities within the County and with disseminating Urban Forestry information to County residents, County departments and municipal agencies.

One of the primary roles of the Vegetation Management section is to administer the Invasive Non-native Vegetation Removal Incentive Programs. This involves providing assistance for the removal of the County's prohibited plant species from both public and private lands.
