Cable Television Franchising Office provides day-to-day administration and oversight of all cable television licenses, monitors and evaluates company performance for specific compliance, records and mediates citizen disputes, reviews and makes recommendations on applications, transfers and renewals, keeps abreast of industry, technical, legal and regulatory developments, collects and analyzes data.
The Technical Staff issues permits for construction, installation and maintenance of a cable system within the right-of-way. They oversee and inspect all permits insuring proper installation and restoration in the County rights-of-way ensuring that life, safety, building and fire prevention codes are met.
