The Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation office is a non-partisan office that serves all sixteen members of the Florida Senate and House of Representatives who represent Palm Beach County and Tallahassee.
The delegation office is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all delegation meetings in Palm Beach County and Tallahassee; developing the delegation’s legislative program which includes all local bills, community appropriation requests and county and municipal legislative priorities; providing legislative assistance and research to the delegation during the legislative session; and serving as a liaison between the delegation and local governments and community organizations.

Library cards are free to all residents of the Palm Beach County Library Taxing District or a municipal library belonging to the Library Cooperative, and to all school-age children residing in Palm Beach County. Those outside the service area may purchase an annual non-resident card. To receive a library card, applicants must present a current ID listing their local address. Children under age 16 may get a card with parent’s or guardian’s identification and signature. Cards are issued at all County Library locations and on the Bookmobile.

The Palm Beach County Library System serves the unincorporated areas of the County, 22 municipalities, and residents in cities in the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches. The Library System operates a Main Library, 13 branches, a Bookmobile and Outreach Services, providing books, newspapers, magazines, audio-visual materials, and access to the Internet. Services include business and consumer reference and information, children’s and adult programs, literacy tutoring, Talking Books for the blind and physically handicapped, and Books-by-Mail for the homebound.

The Palm Beach County Library System provides literacy services to English-speaking adults who read and write below a 5th grade level by utilizing volunteer tutors. State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs.  Receives, investigates and resolves complaints made by or on behalf of residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult family care homes located in Palm Beach County. Annual inspections of same. Also, will mail out lists of Palm Beach County facilities to the public upon request. The LTCOC does not have a rating system for facilities. All calls are confidential.

Animal Care & Control offers several options for individuals looking for lost pests. The Lost and Found Coordinator works with the public to unite owners with lost animals. The ACC lobby is equipped with an interactive computer program "SNAP" which offers a photo-journey of animals within the shelter. SNAP - Surf the Net - About a Pet.
