Palm Tran, the County’s public transportation service, provides fixed-route bus transportation and specialized door-to-door service for the elderly and eligible disabled persons (Palm Tran Connection). 120 buses provide daily service on 35 routes serving major destinations in the County, including the Glades. Buses operate on a 30-minute frequency during weekday peak rush hours and 60-minute frequency mid-day and weekends. Call Palm Tran Connection for eligibility requirements for disabled persons.
