his
section of the Electronic Services & Security Division is the County’s
electronic technical resource group for the Board of County
Commissioners (BOCC), County Administration, Constitutional
Officers, Palm Tran Inc., PBSO jail facilities, Court
Administration for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida,
as well as the County Court for Palm Beach County and local
government agencies/departments for fire/intrusion alarm
systems, audio systems,
recording systems, and video systems.
dditionally, the group managed by
George Novaky works closely
with the Department’s Capital Improvement Division and
Facilities Management Division in identifying the construction
related and maintenance related requirements associated with new
building construction and facility renovation and expansion
projects for all of the electronic systems noted above. In
conjunction with new or expanded facilities, the appropriate
division personnel meet with the work center personnel who
will be occupying the facility to develop bid
specifications for electronic systems required by that user
group. The group is responsible for project managing the
construction of these new systems and acceptance testing to
provide the user community with appropriate and cost effective
electronic systems. As a result of highly sophisticated
electronic systems resident in County building facilities, the
Electronic Services group is organized into
two distinct sections: Fire/Intrusion Alarm Systems and
Audio/Recording/Video.
