Through photography, painting and mixed media
"Solar Abstractions"
features works that explore the power and brilliance
of the sun's splendor in Palm Beach
County.
Twenty-one Palm Beach County artists were selected by the
County's Public Art Committee based on their artistic merit
and how well the "Solar
Abstractions" theme is reflected.
The
changing exhibition program at Palm Beach International
Airport is supported by a grant from HMS Host. Selected works
are exhibited for four months, with changing cultural and
travel themes for every exhibition.
Seen by upwards of 500,000
airport visitors a month, the exhibitions are located on the
Airport’s Level 2 in the Main Terminal, across from the
Traveler’s Lounge.
