Organic Vegetable Gardening workshop offered FREE to anyone interested
More and more people are choosing to produce home-grown vegetables organically without harsh pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This workshop covers many aspects of organic gardening including garden preparation, variety selection, planting, care, and managing pests and diseases. The speaker, Eva Worden, Ph.D., is the 2010 recipient of the Florida Innovative Farmer Award and is co-owner, along with her husband, of Worden Certified Organic Farm in Punta Gorda, Florida. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the subject and should not be missed in this condensed, rare, two-hour southeast Florida appearance.
