Coop Extension volunteers

  • Each summer, approximately 14,000 nests are laid by sea turtles along Palm Beach County’s coastline. Our beaches are critical nesting habitat for the endangered green and leatherback and the threatened loggerhead. Guided turtle walks for the public are offered in May, June and July.
