The sun does not shine for a few trees and flowers, but for the wide world's joy.

Cooperative Extension Service

Coop Extension volunteersVolunteers participate in a variety of projects at the Cooperative Extension Service. One activity is the Master Gardener Volunteer program, which began in 1982 and currently has over 100 active Master Gardeners.

Several volunteer opportunities are also available at Mounts Botanical Garden, including horticultural volunteers, special events volunteers, membership volunteers and Mounts bookstore volunteers.

At 4-H, volunteers provide leadership to the overall organization and operation of the club. 4-H volunteers must have a sincere interest in helping youth develop into useful, productive citizens.
