The JIS Technical Committee shall evaluate the available information technology in order to establish standards that enable CJIS/CIVIS applications to operate and share information smoothly and effectively. This process will include standards for hardware, software, and data across the agencies and departments that are a part of the JIS projects. The JIS Technical Committee takes direction from the JIS Policy and is chaired by the JIS Project Manager, Mike Pinkney. This committee meets on an as needed basis.
