Commissioner Kanjian Hosts Opening Of High Ridge Scrub Natural Area

Commissioner Bob Kanjian recently hosted the grand opening of the High Ridge Scrub Natural Area.

The 39-acre natural area is located at 7300 high Ridge Road in western Boynton Beach south of Hypoluxo Road was an environmental project directed by the County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management.

As part of the opening ceremonies, Commissioner Kanjian conducted a tour to showcase the public-use facilities available in the area along with the natural vegetation and the many animals native to the region, such as gopher tortoises.
