Commissioner Kanjian Tours County’s Therapeutic Recreation Center

On a sunny afternoon, Commissioner Bob Kanjian took a tour of the County's newest recreational facility named The Club Managers Association of America Therapeutic Recreation Complex.

The Complex is located at 2728 Lake Worth Road just east of Palm Beach Community College and in the northern part of John Prince Park. It incorporates a state-of-the-art facility designed with full accessibility capabilities and a variety of sophisticated adapted recreational equipment.

People of all ages and abilities with special needs are able to train and compete in sports, participate in rehabilitation and fitness programs and experience a wide range of visual and performing arts programs.
