29^th Annual Scholarship Breakfast

On Monday, January 18th , over 900 individuals attended the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coordinating Committee 29th Annual Scholarship Breakfast hosted by the Dr. Martin Luther King Coordinating Committee., and Breakfast Chair Palm Beach County Commissioner Priscilla Taylor. The event, held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, was attended by residents of Palm Beach County and beyond who were from all walks of life.  

Damon Hewitt, guest speaker and one of the nation’s leading experts on the civil rights implications of school discipline policy touched on NAACP Legal Defense Fund initiatives including the “Dismantling the School to Prison Pipeline” initiative and school discipline policy.
