The Economic Development Office is planning to demonstrate its new application, PBC Interactive at the Board of County Commissioners workshop on Tuesday, January 17, at 10:30 a.m. The workshop will be held in the commission chambers on the sixth floor of the Palm Beach County Governmental Center.
PBC Interactive offers real-time data intended to help facilitate economic development in the county. The web-based application is built within the new design of myGeoNav, providing a dynamic, comprehensive research tool for public use.
In addition to new tools for business identification, research, and reporting, the application integrates several new layers, including the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, existing land use, and economic development organizations in the county. The data is updated daily and provides current, parcel-based business information.
This dynamic, interactive tool is the result of an effective collaboration between the Economic Development Office, Planning Zoning and Building, Information Systems Services, and the Property Appraiser’s Office.
