New Mid-County Senior Center Opens

Commissioner Kanjian visited the new Mid-County Senior Center for a grand-opening ceremony on February 15, 2008. The new 26,000-square-foot facility provides recreational, educational, health and wellness activities and also serves as an adult day care center. Seniors at the center can participate in painting classes, driving safety courses, yoga, aerobics, language classes, computer classes and even piano lessons. Services include blood pressure screening, eye check-ups and free income tax filing.

The new senior center is located at 3680 Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth.
