Commissioner Kanjian Speaks To Grade School Civics Class

The students had been studying the role of government at the city, county, state and national levels. Commissioner Kanjian related his personal experiences in government with starting with his election to the School Board and now serving as a County Commissioner appointed by Governor Charlie Crist.

Commissioner Bob Kanjian recently visited and spoke with 33 students and their teachers in third-grade civics classes at St. Juliana School in West Palm Beach. Their teacher, Miss Amy Chessler, had extended the invitation for him to visit with the two classes.

Earlier in the week, the students were able to tune in to Channel 20 and watch a County Commission workshop meeting as part of their classwork.
