Fire Rescue Station 32 Dedicated

Commissioner Paulette Burdick was on hand for the grand opening of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Station 32 in suburban Lake Worth on Feb. 3. Joining her were Fire Rescue administrators, county officials and a host of firefighters. The two-story, 8,700-square-foot structure on Charleston Road provides around-the-clock fire-rescue and emergency medical services to a coverage area of approximately 14,000 residents, including Lucerne Lakes and The Fountains. The new station replaces a retired facility that handled more than 3,100 service calls last year.
