Commissioner Joins Lantana Residents in Annual Tradition

Commissioner Vana joined Lantana residents and officials early in February to celebrate the annual tradition of Lantana Lou Day.   For the eighth year, Lou Cantor of Lantana emerged from the Atlantic Ocean carrying a strident and a plastic fish and declared “eight more weeks of good weather and eight more weeks of snowbirds visiting Lantana.”   Commissioner Vana who is originally from Pennsylvania (home of the famous shadow-seeking groundhog) agreed it was much better being in South Florida in February!
