In Memory of Deputy Sheriff James Dickinson
Who Was Killed in the Line of Duty on August 22, 1989

To Live On Through the Youth of Our Community

A Ballfield Dedication Ceremony in memory of Palm Beach County Deputy Sheriff James Dickinson will be held this Saturday, March 25, at 9:00 a.m. in Seminole Palms Park in Royal Palm Beach. Deputy James Dickinson was killed in the line of duty protecting the citizens of our community on August 22, 1989.

County officials will unveil a memorial plaque for members of the family, as well as friends and other members of law enforcement attending the ceremony. Speakers will include Tony Masilotti, Chairman, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, Captain Tony Araujo, PBSO Community Policing Unit, and Gary Dickinson, brother of the slain officer.

Seminole Palms Park is located at 151 Lamstein Lane in Royal Palm Beach. Lamstein Lane is located on the north side of Southern Boulevard, one mile west of State Road 7/US 441.
