The Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Division is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt for dogs on Saturday, April 8, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the hunt, there will be a “Best Doggie Easter Bonnet Contest.”
The entire family is invited to join this free and fun event, which will take place at the main shelter at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, approximately five miles west of I-95. There will be prizes, ribbons, and trophies for winners. You can register by calling 561-233-1280 or by emailing kbuchan@co.palm-beach.fl.us.
Dogs must be on a leash, currently vaccinated against rabies and wearing a current rabies license tag. If your pet is not currently vaccinated, shots and tags are available at the shelter location for $5 plus the cost of the tag.
