Commissioner Kanjian Salutes State Girls Basketball Champions

Commissioner Bob Kanjian presented a Proclamation to the Girls Varsity Basketball Team of Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth to acknowledge their exceptional achievement of winning the Division 1A State Championship on February 22, 2008.  The team became the first team in the history of Palm Beach County to win the State 1A Championship with a record of 22 victories.

The Proclamation was presented in an assembly of the entire student body on March 26th.  During the assembly, Commissioner Kanjian congratulated the team and talked to the student body about the importance of making the right choices in their lives.  "We are continually and constantly confronted with choices everyday.  Making the good choices and the right choices are the ones that will lead us on the proper path to adulthood."
