The North County Senior Center is offering many recreational and leisure activities this spring. Classes are ongoing, so participants can stop by anytime. Although there is a small fee for some classes, many of the activities are free.
Some of the sessions include bingo, mahjong, canasta, poker, pinochle, tap dancing, folk dancing, ball room dancing, oil painting, Chinese painting, fitness, chair exercise, aerobics, foreign languages and trips. The center also offers free blood pressure screenings.
The North County Senior Center is operated by the Palm Beach County Community Services Department and is located at 5217 Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens.
The senior center is looking for an experienced bridge instructor.
