The Palm Beach County Economic Development Office is helping local businesses learn how to do business with Ireland. Kevin Johns, Palm Beach County Economic Development Director, is assisting local businesses expand internationally.
The seminar, "How to do Business with Ireland," will focus on the advantages of doing business in Ireland and will identify various challenges as well. Whether already involved in import/export business, or interested in exploring its potential, the seminar will provide individuals and businesses with valuable information and insight from well-respected authorities.
Sean Davis, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Ireland, the official government agency responsible for the development and promotion of Irish industries and exports, will discuss the best business opportunities, how to do business in Ireland and give an overview on the Irish economy.
Ciaran Morris, Senior Vice President, Irish Development Authority, will discuss high value industries such as advanced manufacturing in pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, medical technologies, and internationally traded services in software, financial services, and consumer support services.
The seminar will be held Monday, April 21, 2008, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, in the 12th floor McEaddy Conference Room at the Palm Beach County Governmental Center, 301 N. Olive Avenue in West Palm Beach. The seminar will be hosted by the World Trade Center Palm Beach and is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is advised.
