Palm Tran Announces Link Service Updates

Palm Tran’s new route deviation service, The Link, is quickly becoming a success.  Several service modifications have been announced in an effort to serve new areas of interest to riders.  These changes outlined below are effective immediately.

• Lime Link: The hours of operation will be shifted.  Service will now run between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. every Wednesday.
• Orange Link:  Service will be re-routed at Westgate Avenue to serve the Wal-Mart Supercenter at Military Trail and Belvedere Road every Wednesday.
• Gold Link:  Stops have been added at the Harvin Center on Royal Palm Beach Blvd. and the Super Target at Okeechobee Blvd and State Road 7.  The Gold Link runs every Tuesday.

The other color-coded Links will remain unchanged.  Their schedules are as follows:

• Blue Link that operates on Mondays along Okeechobee Blvd. and Haverhill Road to Northlake Blvd. and Military Trail;
• Purple Link that operates on Tuesdays and runs along Atlantic Ave. to Boynton Beach Blvd. and Military Trail via Hagen Ranch Road;
• Red Link that operates on Thursdays from County Line Plaza at U.S. 1 to Indiantown Road, and Central Blvd. via Seabrook Road and Center Street;
• Magenta Link that operates on Thursdays from 441-Clint Moore Road via Yamato Road to the Boca Raton Tri-Rail station.
