“Helping Animals in Need”
The Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Division is sponsoring a student poster contest in an effort to find a logo for the Pahokee Pet Food Bank. The pet food bank is currently operating at the West County Free Spay/Neuter Clinic in Pahokee which distributes donated pet food to families that need help feeding their pets.
The poster contest is open to all students in Palm Beach County, grades K-12, to encourage children to become involved in the community. Posters will be judged in four grade groups: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The winning poster will be used as the logo for the Pahokee Pet Food Bank. The theme for the poster contest is “Helping Animals in Need.”
Poster contest rules and regulations can be found on the Web site: www.pbcgov.com/pubsafety/animal. Completed posters can be mailed or hand delivered to Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, Poster Contest, 7100 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. All posters must be received by the deadline of Sunday, May 3, 2009.
